Gary Gygax - The passing of an icon

I am certain there are others that would disagree and no doubt most people would be like "March 4th? Is that date significant?"

Heck I amy even forget it next year.

But the reality is that Gary Gygax is the father of gaming. The sheer number of us that started with D&D - his versions of D&D - are immense. Wizard's owes it's future to this man - Magic and Pokemon may have started their success and paid the bills for years but D&D is the standard by which other RPGs are made - for good or ill.

He died this morning and he will be remembered.
